On November 17, at the invitation of PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Company, a team led by Mr. Zhang participated in the "Mobilization Meeting for Equipment Supply Promotion of Jilin Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Transformation and Upgrading Project." The meeting was divided into two parts: an indoor meeting in the morning and a project site visit in the afternoon. Jilin Chemical also specially invited two directors from the Comprehensive Business Department and Equipment Procurement Department of PetroChina Headquarters to participate in this meeting. Jilin Chemical’s party committee secretary, deputy general manager and leaders of directly affiliated departments such as engineering, design, and procurement management departments attended and spoke. This is a promotion meeting for key projects of the PetroChina system. The headquarters and Jilin Chemical leaders attach great importance to it. More than 40 construction units and suppliers of equipment, instruments and other equipment are invited to attend the meeting. Shengu, Lanshi Heavy Equipment, Daqing Petrochemical Machinery, No. 1 Heavy Industry, Seven Heavy Industry Well-known domestic enterprises such as CNPC 1st Construction and CNPC 6th Construction were present. The meeting mainly focused on "high quality and guaranteed delivery".

This project is the first large-scale petrochemical project approved by the state since the "14th Five-Year Plan", with a total investment of 33.925 billion yuan. It will build 21 new units of 1.2 million tons/year ethylene and other units, and renovate 7 units at the same time. It is planned to be between August and December next year. They meet the conditions for delivery. In the second part of the meeting, the heads of the engineering, design and procurement management departments gave a more detailed explanation of the project operation, drawing confirmation, equipment ordering, arrival and installation. During the meeting, a total of 6 supplier representatives came to the stage to speak. As one of the representatives, Mr. Zhang also came to the stage to make a more detailed report on the progress of more than 120 pieces of ethylene and styrene equipment undertaken by our company. Mr. Zhang said that the number of equipment undertaken by Jilin Chemical Project has set a new high for Jiangguo's equipment of the same scale in the domestic refining and chemical industry. While he feels honored, he is also aware of the great responsibility. Therefore, for such a top-notch project, the company will strive to ensure that the project equipment is delivered on time by increasing space, personnel, machinery and strengthening logistics support.

Quality is the keyword of this meeting. Representatives of the supervision units summarized and analyzed the problems. While analyzing the problems, they notified all the units involved to warn all participating units that while ensuring the construction period, Quality should be put first. Everywhere we visited, we listened to the person in charge of each installation explain the scale of the installation, construction progress, etc. For those of us in the South, we feel the chill after standing outdoors for a short time. But even under such extremely cold conditions, Jihua people and builders are still fighting on the front line. The enthusiasm for construction at the site has not diminished. This fighting spirit shows the glory of the old industrial base in Northeast China. Jilin Chemical has set a benchmark in the national petrochemical industry. With their high standards and strict requirements, Jihua people fulfill the original intention of Sinopec people.
