Quench Cooler Openning Ceremony

On October 25, the groundbreaking ceremony of the domestic ethylene unit quench (the first use of domestic 13CrMo4-5 steel pipe) was held in our JBPV. Dushanzi Petrochemical Deputy Director Gu Yang, HQCEC Equipment Room Director Li Xiaobo, Baosteel Central Research Institute Dr. Zhang Qinglian, JBPV Vice GM Sun Chungang,Chief Engineer Fan Wenbin, Experts Hu Yasheng participated in the activity.

Director Li Xiaobo made a speech on behalf of the general contractor and designer of Tarim Phase II. He said that the quencher as the core equipment of ethylene equipment, the road to localization has been more difficult, and has become the heart of generations of workers in HQCEC. After more than 30 years of exploration and testing, this time finally realized the full localization of the quencher. The achievement is inseparable from the efforts of material supplier Baosteel and quencher professional manufacturer JBPV, and it is also more inseparable from the support of Dushanzi Petrochemical for the domestic quencher. Dr. Zhang of Baosteel briefly described the performance of domestic 13CrMo4-5 steel pipes.

Minister Zhu Haihong detailed high temperature tensile, low temperature impact, mechanical properties test, internal and external size detection, test data for 13CrMo4-5 steel pipe showing that the performance of domestic materials has been better than foreign counterparts. At the same time, Minister Zhu introduced the production, testing, manufacturing process and time limit of the main parts of the quencher Incoloy800 forging inlet with fork cone, collector and so on.

Deputy Director Gu Yang made a speech on behalf of Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim Phase II project. He said that the reason why such a difficult manufacturing task is entrusted to our company is mainly due to the trust in JBPV.

Fan Wenbin, chief engineer,represented the technical team, expressed that as a professional manufacturer of quencher in China, with the trust of customers and a sense of mission, will communicate with upstream and downstream brother units in a timely manner, share data and experience, prioritize personnel, machinery,spare no pains, ensure quality and quantity, complete delivery on time, and make due contributions to the thorough domestic production of quencher equipment.
