To effectively improve the practical operation skills of newly hired riveters and translate the results of previous theoretical training into production capabilities,the company has officially launched a special practical training program for sheet metal workers recently. This training precisely targets the weak points exposed in last year's theoretical assessment of new riveters, conducts on-site teaching based on workshop production realities, and achieves in-depth integration of theoretical knowledge with frontline practice,helping employees strengthen job skills and enhance professional competence.

Targeted Training Addresses Practical Skill Gaps

Reviewing the results of last year's theoretical training and assessment, trainees generally mastered basic knowledge well but showed obvious shortcomings in core modules such as process application and practical calculation. The common problem is that "trainees can understand in classroom but struggle to apply on-site",meaning theoretical knowledge lacks practical applicability,and it is difficult to flexibly apply knowledge in real production scenarios,with the professionalism and standardization of practical operations needing improvement.To address this pain point, the training program has optimized the curriculum, focusing on core knowledge points that are frequently used in work and prone to errors.Classroom theoretical formulas and process standards are now brought to the production line, allowing trainees to verify knowledge and hone skills through practice, truly achieving the goal of learning through practice and improving through training.

Small-Class Teaching Ensures Training Quality and Efficiency

To maximize training effectiveness, this practical training adopts a small-class teaching model, with 6 trainees per class.This arrangement effectively ensures that each trainee can obtain sufficient hands-on operation opportunitiesand full attention from training instructors.

Small-class teaching allows instructors to observe each trainee'soperating habits, promptly identify and correct non-standard operationsand bad work habits. Meanwhile, sufficient practical opportunities allow trainees to ask questions anytimeand get immediate answers, efficiently overcoming skill difficulties. The training site is equipped with a full set of professional measuring tools including tape measures, angle squares, marking tools, etc. Trainees work in pairs and cooperate with each other,carrying out immersive practical training in real production scenariosto consolidate basic job skills.

Focusing on Core Courses to Consolidate Basic Job Skills

The first phase of training focuses on three core skills: cylinder unrolling, cylinder and head assembly, and hole marking.All three are basic operations with the highest frequency of use and strictest accuracy requirements in the daily work of sheet metal workers,and are key processes ensuring the production quality of pressure vessels. This training is instructed by Bao Ruping. The instructor first explains in detail theoretical formulas such as cylinder arc length calculation and cylinder unrolling,sorts out key control points in operations and common operation mistakes, and demonstrates standard calculation methods for misalignment values. After fully understanding the theoretical principles,trainees independently complete the assembly of two-section cylinders, strictly controlling core parameters such as assembly dimensions and misalignment values,
